I really enjoyed this experience. I was able to pick sessions that appealed to me. The presenters made the sessions interactive instead of just sit and get.
This training was very informative and helpful in understanding guided math/small groups. I received many resources and information that will help me with implementation of small groups and keeping my whole class learning and growing while working with a small group of students.
I appreciated the perspective and resources that were provided during this training. I loved how they encourage teachers to tell their students to embraces struggles and to encourage it! We all have times of fixed mindsets, and that when students say “this is hard!” encourage them by saying “great! That means your brain is working and learning”.
